Chinese, Argentine militaries hold video conference on military medicine: Defense Spokesperson



BEIJING, Nov. 24 — Chinese and Argentine military personnel held a video conference on military medical exchanges on Nov. 22, Senior Colonel Wu Qian, spokesperson for the Chinese Ministry of National Defense (MND), said during a regular press conference in Beijing on Thursday.

The conference brought together health department leaders and experts in disease control, health service support and other related fields from both sides.

Participants exchanged views on topics such as the military’s involvement in the prevention and control of COVID-19, and the support of health services in military operations. Chinese experts specifically introduced the Chinese military’s development and application of COVID-19 vaccines.

Both parties agreed to take this event as an opportunity to intensify their communication and cooperation in the field of medicine, and to make positive contributions to building a common health community for mankind.
