19 U.S. wrestlers in United World Wrestling Year-End Greco-Roman Rankings; Nowry and Hafizov in the top 10

United World Wrestling today announced its year-end Greco-Roman rankings. Wrestlers who have participated in World Championships, Continental Championships, Ranking Series events, and some regional games have the advantage of being active throughout the year.

The top three wrestlers in each weight class will receive cash prizes. The United States had no wrestlers qualified for a cash prize.

Two American wrestlers were in the top 10 of their weight class, Max Nowry (No. 6 to 55 kg) and Ildar Hafizov (No. 9 to 60 kg). There were 19 American wrestlers who were included in the final rankings, ranging from No. 6 to No. 73 in the rankings.
